Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will provide patient-centered nursing care, conduct assessments, administer treatments, monitor patient conditions, coordinate care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient safety and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Recognize and report changes in patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge plans.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Delegate appropriate tasks and monitor completion of patient care activities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain patient safety standards.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Kentucky RN license or applicable state RN license.
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous nursing experience preferred; no minimum experience required.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
