Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry
Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health – Ocean University Medical Center (4 West)
Location: 425 Jack Martin Blvd, Brick, NJ 08724
Start Date: 11/16/2026
Contract End Date: 02/13/2027
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week
Weekend: Every other weekend or as needed
Holiday: Required
Floating: Required
Scrubs: Navy
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit at a major acute-care hospital.
- Strong Med/Surg and Telemetry background.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred.
- Active New Jersey RN license or compact license.
- AHA BLS, NIHSS, Telemetry certification, and 4-hour Stroke CEU required.
- ACLS listed in the schedule notes; confirm before submission.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement and document nursing interventions based on patient needs and acuity.
- Monitor and manage Med/Surg and Telemetry patients.
- Coordinate care with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Provide evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care.
