Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or medical-surgical nursing strongly preferred
• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
• Ability to monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor telemetry patients and promptly communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and document care thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused care environment
