Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical / Telemetry (Med-Surg Tele RN) – Night Shift
- Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:00 | 36 Hours per Week
- Schedule Structure: 12-hour night shifts (NOC).
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (EOW) required.
- Holiday Coverage: Rotating holiday coverage required per department schedule.
- On-Call / Standby: No On-Call required.
- Floating Protocol & Unit Details: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Unit. Primary responsibilities include acute medical-surgical care, continuous telemetry cardiac rhythm monitoring, stroke patient monitoring, post-orthopedic care, medication administration, and care coordination. EMR: Epic EMR (experience required). Preferred clinical background includes dedicated stroke and orthopedic nursing experience.

- Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]:
- Minimum 1+ year of dedicated acute care Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Direct clinical experience and proficiency in continuous telemetry cardiac rhythm interpretation strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- EMR Proficiency: Hands-on Epic EMR charting experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Stroke and Orthopedic clinical experience preferred.
- State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
- Active Connecticut (CT) Registered Nurse License OR Active Multistate Compact RN License strictly required IN-HAND at time of submission [HARDSTOP].
- Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification strictly required IN-HAND at submission [HARDSTOP].
- Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification strictly required IN-HAND at submission [HARDSTOP].
