Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a seasoned travel nurse with at least one prior contract experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and make critical decisions regarding their care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
Schedule
The position includes a block schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, from 07:00 to 19:00, with every other weekend required. While block schedules are approved, they are not mandatory.
Patient Ratios
Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5.
Dress Code
Licensed nursing personnel are required to wear solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not permitted, except in specific areas such as pediatrics and women's services where unit-specific scrub attire may be allowed.
Parking
Employees can park for free in any unrestricted space in designated surface parking lots.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
- Prior travel nursing experience is required.
