Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to established protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform comprehensive patient education and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EPIC).
- Float to other units as necessary to meet staffing needs.
Qualifications
- Must possess an active South Carolina nursing license.
- At least 1 year of EPIC experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Telemetry nursing preferred.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
- Ability to work 3x12 night shifts (19:00 - 07:30).
Additional Information
This position requires flexibility to float to other units as needed. Candidates with prior travel nursing experience will be considered based on relevant experience.
