Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing or Telemetry nursing experience required
- Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to care for a diverse adult patient population in a fast-paced inpatient setting
- Comfort working 12-hour day shifts with weekend and holiday rotation
- Current compliance and onboarding requirements must be completed prior to start
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate bedside nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret telemetry data, and communicate changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care and facility protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
- Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
- Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach while adapting to unit needs
