Position Overview
Froedtert Hospital is seeking an experienced Med Surg / Neuro RN to provide care for adult patients with medical-surgical and neurological conditions.
The RN will work 12-hour night shifts and should be comfortable floating to other appropriate units as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med Surg and Neurology patients
- Perform assessments and monitor patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments
- Manage IVs and other routine nursing procedures
- Recognize and escalate changes in patient condition
- Provide neurological assessments and monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
- Float to other units as needed
Required Skills & Assessments
- Med Surg nursing experience
- Neurology / Neuro nursing experience
- Neuro Progressive Care competency
- RN Medical Surgical competency
- RN Neurology competency
- RN Pharmacology competency
- Core Mandatory Nursing assessments
Required Certification
- BLS
Schedule
