Job Details
- Position: Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Vero Beach, FL 32960
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
- Setting: Home Health
- On-Call/Weekend Requirement: None
- Mileage Reimbursement: Available between visits
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of home health nursing experience
- OASIS knowledge and home health experience required
- Associate degree in nursing or higher
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
- Experience with IVs, wound care, and blood draws is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage a home-based patient caseload
Responsibilities
- Perform start-of-care, resumption of care, and revisit visits
- Complete patient assessments and develop appropriate plans of care
- Document visits accurately and timely in accordance with home health standards and OASIS requirements
- Provide skilled nursing care in the home setting
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team to support continuity of care
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing support
- Travel throughout the assigned coverage area to meet patient needs
