Home Health RN Job Details

• Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Location: Greensboro, North Carolina; home health visits throughout Guilford County
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• End Date: January 16, 2027
• Healthcare Setting: Home Health
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120–$2,230
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
• On-Call Requirement: Two on-call rotations during the contract
• Additional Information: Mileage between patient visits is reimbursed according to assignment policy. Scrubs may be any color.

Home Health Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in North Carolina
• Associate degree in Nursing or higher
• Current CPR certification
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience; home health nursing experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and provide compassionate skilled nursing care in patients’ homes
• Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills
• Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience is preferred

Home Health RN Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Provide patient and caregiver education related to diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self-care
• Deliver wound care and address other medical needs within the scope of practice
• Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care
• Communicate patient status and care needs with providers, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations and respond appropriately to patient concerns
