• Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
• Start Date: August 10, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13-week contract, ending November 7, 2026
• Travel: Mileage reimbursement between patient visits
• Coverage Area: Corpus Christi, Driscoll, Alice, Kingsville, and Premont areas

Home Health Registered Nurse Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
• Associate degree in Nursing or an equivalent nursing education credential
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience
• Previous Home Health field nursing experience required
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and time-management skills
• Ability to travel independently between patient visits
• OASIS proficiency and Homecare Homebase experience preferred
• Dependable, organized, compassionate, and comfortable working independently

Home Health Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout the assigned Corpus Christi service area
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Monitor patient conditions, identify changes in status, and communicate concerns to appropriate care team members
• Perform medication review, patient education, wound care, and other skilled nursing interventions as ordered
• Accurately complete OASIS assessments and timely clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, aides, families, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Promote patient safety, continuity of care, and improved health outcomes in the home setting
• Manage a field-based schedule efficiently while maintaining dependable communication and follow-through
