Job Description
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our medical unit team. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with other interdisciplinary team members. This position requires the ability to float to other units as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process in providing care for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing standards, policies, and state laws.
- Document patient information and care activities according to standards of care.
- Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate in department and unit performance improvement activities.
- Utilize clinical expertise to support patient care across various departments.
- Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and enhance patient experience, escalating concerns to the appropriate chain of command.
Additional Requirements
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required.
- 12-hour shifts (Nights) are mandatory.
