Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Vermont. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care to adult and occasional pediatric patients in a busy acute care setting. The nurse will coordinate clinical activities in a general Med/Surg unit, utilizing the Nursing Process to meet the diverse needs of patients while collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Job Details
- Position Description: Night shift primarily adult care with occasional pediatrics. Must be able to start as soon as possible, no later than 11/11. Focused on adult and pediatric patient care in a general Med/Surg unit, utilizing the Nursing Process to make critical decisions.
- Required Qualifications: Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure; BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS certification; at least 3 years of acute care experience; experience with Meditech preferred.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Travelers will start on Wednesdays. During orientation week, travelers on a 48-hour contract will be guaranteed 36 hours due to a midweek start. Credentialing credentials must be uploaded five business days before start date.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates should ensure all required credentials are completed and uploaded promptly to facilitate onboarding.
