Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage
- Comfortable providing bedside nursing care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment
- Ability to complete required onboarding, compliance, and competency documentation
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients in an acute care setting
- Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and clinical standards
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, effective patient care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
- Support unit workflow and contribute to a positive, team-oriented patient care environment
