Job Details
- Certifications, Education, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience required.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, with self-scheduling and unit balancing responsibilities.
- Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS Certification, and a minimum of 2 years of direct medical-surgical experience. Candidate must possess a valid driver's license, be willing to participate in a pass/fail exam during orientation, and adhere to fingernail policies.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to care for a wide variety of patients, willingness to teach (precept) and learn, experience with common diagnoses such as cardiology, surgical oncology, urology, and complex general medical-surgical patients.
- Responsibilities include managing patient conditions, reading basic telemetry strips, and supporting patient care activities in an acute care setting.
- Additional Information: This role requires compliance with hospital policies including specific dress code and orientation. Cancellation policies and charting systems are outlined.
