Travel Neuro RN – Quick Highlights Experience: 1+ year, with 6+ months Neuro First-Time Traveler: Accepted with manager approval Certifications: BLS & NIHSS Unit: 23 beds Ratio: 1:6–7 Patient Population: TBI, SCI, stroke, amputees, burns, trauma, pneumonia and post-craniotomy patients Skills: Trach/vent care, PICC/central lines, wound care, TPN, drains, G-tubes and tube feeds EMR: Cerner Shift: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM / 6:30 PM–7:00 AM Weekend: Every 3rd weekend Call: None Floating: Within scope; travelers do not care for pediatric patients Orientation: Online + in-person orientation RTO: Manager approval required Scrubs: Galaxy Blue Parking: Free
