Job Details
- Position Description: MS RN Days at a general hospital in Henderson, IN, involving a 13-week contract with guarantee of 36 hours per week, with potential for 48 hours upon request. Shift hours are 12-hour days from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, including a floating requirement within skills.
- Required Qualifications: Current active compact registered nursing license, AHA BLS certification, NIHSS certification, minimum two years of strong Medical Surgical (MS) nursing experience, recent Epic charting experience, and a minimum of an Associate Degree or Certificate.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, drip management (heparin, cardizem), PEGs/NGs, ostomy care, remote telemetry, blood product administration, NIHSS/dysphagia screening, and strong assessment skills.
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Float: Float rotation may be required within skillset, including potential float to nearby campuses with a 2-hour notice.
- Additional Information: Requires at least two years of Med/Surg experience, recent Epic charting proficiency, and the capacity to handle diverse clinical situations with resilience and strong assessment skills.
