Travel RN – Medical-Surgical (Acute Cardiology)
📍 Location: Atlanta, Georgia
🏥 Facility: Northside Hospital Atlanta
📅 Start Date: November 9, 2026
🗓️ Contract Length: 13 Weeks
⏰ Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
🕒 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
✈️ Candidate Type: Travel Nurses Only
Assignment Highlights
- Acute Cardiology Unit (606A)
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every-other-weekend requirement
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
Your Role
- Provide nursing care to patients on an acute cardiology/medical-surgical unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes in clinical status.
- Administer medications and perform nursing interventions according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care and recovery.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow patient safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Appropriate active RN licensure for the assignment.
- Availability to work nights and every other weekend.
Holiday Requirements
Candidates must work:
- 2 of these 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
- 1 minor holiday: Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
Important Contract Requirements
- Compliance must be completed by the Wednesday before the Monday start date.
- Badge photo required.
- Travel candidates only; no local candidates within 50 miles.
