Travel Nursing Job Details

Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Georgia
• At least 2 years of recent medical-surgical or acute medicine nursing experience
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, prioritization, and acute care nursing skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Availability for the assigned night-shift schedule and required holiday rotation

Acute Medicine RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on an acute medicine unit
• Perform ongoing nursing assessments, monitor patient status, and recognize changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with provider orders and clinical standards
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning
• Accurately document patient care and communicate pertinent clinical information during shift handoffs
