Job Summary
Registered Nurse Long Term Acute Care: Provides comprehensive care to patients in a long-term acute care and telemetry setting. The role requires clinical judgment, leadership, delegation, supervision, and adherence to the Nursing Process, state Nurse Practice Act, and facility policies and procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications through the American Heart Association; Florida Registered Nurse license or multistate compact Registered Nurse license; experience with ventilators and tracheostomies; knowledge of central lines.
- Preferred Qualifications: Wound care experience.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include planning and delivering safe patient care, maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating care priorities according to staff education and experience, and providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel. Candidates must be available to start within two weeks of offer.
