ALOIS Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington.

Responsibilities
- Provide care to high-risk obstetric patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity L&D unit.
- Assist with high-risk and routine vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Perform C-section circulating duties.
- Serve as the baby nurse during delivery and provide newborn care until transfer to postpartum.
- Perform newborn assessments, administer vitamin K injections and eye prophylaxis, and provide care to the newborn's thighs as required by protocol.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and provide electronic fetal monitoring.
- Manage obstetric emergencies, including postpartum hemorrhage and pregnancy-induced hypertension.
- Administer medications and treatments, including magnesium sulfate, insulin, Pitocin, and terbutaline.
- Float to postpartum, antepartum, or other nearby campuses as needed, within applicable competencies
