L&D RN (Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse) – Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pregnant women during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
- Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate (FHR) throughout labor.
- Assess labor progression, including cervical dilation, contractions, and fetal positioning.
- Assist physicians during vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and epidurals as prescribed.
Key Skills / Experience:
- Labor & Delivery 3-5 years of experience
- Fetal Heart Monitoring
- Vaginal and C-section delivery support
- Postpartum care
- Newborn assessment
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification
