Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Mount Shasta, California.
Job Description & Requirements

- Employment Type: Travel
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
- Must be comfortable working independently in a small Family Birth Center.
- May be the only L&D RN physically present on-site; the facility attempts to have a second L&D RN available on call.
- Must be experienced in:
- Labor and delivery care.
- Maternal and fetal monitoring.
- Emergency obstetric response.
- Newborn care during C-sections, with assistance from Respiratory Therapy and Anesthesia.
- Must be willing to assist the Medical-Surgical department with nursing tasks when needed.
SCHEDULE
- Shift: 12-hour Days.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
- BLS – AHA required.
- ACLS required.
- NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program required.
- Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (AFM) required.
- COVID-19 vaccination required
LICENSE
- Active RN license required.
