Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) in a rural healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized obstetric care in a unit with three labor and delivery rooms, two postpartum rooms, and a triage room. The role requires clinical expertise in managing labor and postpartum patients, with a focus on safety and patient-centered care.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Rotating
- Shift Hours: 12-hour day/PM shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree, WI RN license, BLS certification, NRP certification, 2 years in labor and delivery with L&D experience, EPIC charting experience highly preferred.
- Schedule: 12 hour day/PM shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Travel contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility. The position includes every third weekend and holiday rotation. Float to medical-surgical departments may be requested if the Birth Center is less busy, and travel to other regional locations may occur. Travelers may be on call for low census hours, which will count toward their unbillable hours. The minimum call-back time is 2 hours. During flu season, unvaccinated travelers are required to wear masks at all times, with no exceptions.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must have a minimum of two years of labor and delivery experience and hold current licensure and certifications as listed.
