Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.

Women & Infant Float Pool RN – Travel Contract
📍 Facility: Ohio State University hospital system — exact location to be confirmed
🏥 Unit: Level IV Maternity Center
🕐 Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
📅 Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts
💰 Local Candidates: Accepted at the same rate
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
- Must be willing to float between:
- Labor & Delivery (L&D)
- Maternal Special Care
- Postpartum
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- BLS
- NRP
Preferred Certifications:
- AWHONN Advanced
- EFM/CEFM
Key Clinical Skills
- Labor and delivery care, including vaginal delivery and C-section support.
- High-risk antepartum and maternal special care.
- Fetal monitoring and non-stress tests (NSTs).
- Postpartum assessments, including fundus, lochia, perineum, and incision care.
- Newborn assessments, couplet care, and infant identification.
- Postpartum hemorrhage management.
- Magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, insulin drips, and antihypertensive medications.
- Breastfeeding education, breast milk collection, and storage.
- IV starts, Foley catheter insertion, blood product administration, and pain management.
Scheduling & Call
- Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
- Weekend coverage required.
- Call is required; frequency is not specified.
- RTO must be submitted with the application and included in the contract.
