Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position located within the healthcare organizations labor and delivery department. This role involves providing specialized patient care to women during labor, childbirth, and postpartum, ensuring safety, comfort, and positive health outcomes. The position requires working night shifts and is suitable for qualified nurses with at least one year of experience in L&D.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
- Education Requirements: Valid RN license, NC or Compact state license
- Experience Requirements: 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Location Requirements: NC or Compact license required
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 11/30/2026
- End Date: 03/01/2027
- Length: 13 weeks
- Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, monitoring fetal well-being, managing labor progression, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Fetal Monitoring experience is preferred.
