Mother/Baby Couplet Care Nurse in Sylva, NC This role involves providing high-quality postpartum and antepartum care for neonates and adults in a dedicated mother-baby unit. The position requires attending deliveries, caring for postpartum patients, and managing neonatal recovery, supporting a team-focused environment within a fully-accredited acute care hospital.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Nursing license, 2 years of experience in mother/baby or related specialty, with a minimum of 0 years of experience required.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Provide postpartum and antepartum care, assist with deliveries, neonatal recovery, and managing complications related to pregnancy, labor, and delivery.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with postpartum and neonatal care, prepping/PACU for C-sections, and ability to attend deliveries.
- Additional Information: Must have skills in couplet care, attending deliveries, and recovery of newborns and postpartum patients. Team-oriented, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
