Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Facility Type/Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Interventional Radiology / Neurointerventional Radiology
Facility/Location: Milwaukee, WI
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours/week
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Call/Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Weekday call approximately once per week, Monday–Thursday, until 7:00 AM the following morning. Weekend call approximately every 5th or 6th weekend, Friday through Monday at 7:00 AM. 30-minute response time. Holiday call may be required if needs change.
Requirements:
- RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Interventional Radiology and Neuro IR experience required
- Experience with basic to complex IR and neurovascular procedures, including strokes, embolization, TIPS, Y-90, carotid stenting, and vascular bleeds
- Epic EMR experience required
- Siemens and GE equipment experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- Candidates with 1 year of experience accepted
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to adult patients undergoing IR and neurointerventional procedures.
- Administer sedation when anesthesia is not involved.
- Monitor patients during procedures and document their clinical status and responses.
- Assist with central lines, PICCs, ports, fistulograms, IVC filters, nephrostomy tubes, embolization, and other IR procedures.
- Support neurointerventional procedures involving strokes, embolization, and other vascular conditions.
- Assist with complex procedures such as TIPS, Y-90, carotid stenting, and treatment of vascular bleeds.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interventional radiology team to ensure safe patient care.
