Job Details
- Position Description: The Clinical Nurse (CN) in Interventional Radiology (IR) delivers direct patient care by assessing, interpreting data, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatments. The CN collaborates with team members to develop individualized care plans and educates patients and families on health management and recovery. As a professional, the RN monitors care quality and maintains licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and current knowledge of IR practices.
- Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, at least 1 year of experience in an IR setting, and ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The RN role involves rapid problem-solving, emergency activation, quality monitoring, and participation in team initiatives to improve patient care and staff morale. The nurse will utilize available technology for communication and documentation, mentor other staff, and contribute to professional development activities.
