Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Active VA or Compact Nursing License required upon start; minimum of 2 years of related experience with prior travel experience required for all CentrA positions.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 09/21/2026 and ending 12/19/2026.
- Additional responsibilities: Charge role required with corresponding pay differential and training; unit handles a patient mix of cardiac, neuro, CVA, and med-surg patients; orientation occurs every other Monday; limited or weekend-only RTO requests considered; unit follows a typical 2/3 weekends per month schedule but flexibility depends on unit needs.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system; prior charge nurse experience preferred.
- Submission Requirements: Work history with at least 2 years experience with explanations for work gaps over 90 days, Skills Checklist, Nursys license copy, and all requested time off documented at submission.
- Additional Information: The unit is part of a teaching hospital environment where interaction with students and new hires is expected; limited RTO allowed; client can cancel up to 36 hours per assignment due to census fluctuations.
