Registered Nurse (RN) - Dialysis
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Dialysis to join our team. This role includes providing comprehensive hemodialysis services to patients in both a dialysis unit and at the bedside of ICU patients. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in dialysis care and a strong commitment to patient well-being.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality hemodialysis services to stable patients in a dialysis unit.
- Provide bedside hemodialysis for ICU patients unable to travel.
- Prepare, connect, and disconnect patients from peritoneal dialysis treatments.
- Utilize Fresenius machines for hemodialysis; full orientation will be provided.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and operational protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent experience in dialysis nursing.
- Possess a current and valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from AHA or American Red Cross.
- One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required.
Shift Information
- Day shift; options for 3x12 hours or 4x10 hours.
- Participation in an on-call rotation and availability for every other weekend is expected.
