Job Summary
Infusion Nurse, located in the specified healthcare setting, provides evidence-based patient care utilizing the nursing process. The role involves autonomous practice, critical thinking, and collaboration to ensure the safe and effective treatment of patients in an infusion specialty setting.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current American Nursing Association (ANA) licensed nurse credentials, required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 1 year of nursing experience in infusion.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Utilize nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans; monitor patient status; modify care plans as necessary; ensure safe passage of patients in infusion treatments.
- Preferred Qualifications: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification.
- Additional Information: The nurse will serve as an engaged and credentialed member of the professional nursing organization, responsible for continuous evaluation of nursing practice, and maintaining credentialing to support autonomous nursing practice in infusion care.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be currently credentialed with active licensure and necessary certifications to be considered for the role.
