Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Critical Care to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Information
- 12-hour Night Shifts
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- Will float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
- Weekend and Holiday shifts may be required
Orientation and Training
New hires will undergo an 8-hour non-billable orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Unit Information
- Unit Size: 20 beds
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor patient conditions, including ventilation, ICP, and hemodynamic parameters.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as necessary.
Qualifications
- 2 years of current Critical Care experience is required.
- Willingness to float to PCU is mandatory.
- Experience with Ventilation, ICP Monitoring, and Hemodynamic Monitoring is essential.
- Strongly preferred: Meditech Expanse experience.
- Preferred: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Must have a valid Massachusetts RN license.
- Active certifications: BLS, ACLS from American Heart Association, and NIHSS.
- Must have a personal vehicle for transportation.

- Requested time off must be noted and approved at the time of profile submission.
- Travelers cannot take all holidays off and must be available during peak holiday periods.
