Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the experience and skills necessary to provide exceptional patient care across various acuity levels.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status.
- Provide care to patients in a Med/Surg and PCU unit, including occasional ICU/PCU patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Participate in weekend rotations and holiday shifts as required.
- Be available for standby call as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med/Surg and PCU.
- Current RN license required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are mandatory.
- Telemetry exam must be passed prior to assignment start.
- If a first-time traveler, must have more than 5 years of experience as an RN.
Contract Details
The standard contract is for 13 weeks with a potential option for a 48-hour contract if willing to work additional weekends.
Shift Details
Shifts are 12 hours long, from 0630 to 1900, with a rotation that includes weekends and holidays.
