ICU RN Job Details

• Shift Duration: 12-hour overnight shifts
• Schedule: Per diem; must work at least one shift per month to remain active in the per diem pool
• Orientation: Must be available Monday through Friday

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020–$2,130

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care nursing experience
• At least 2 years of professional RN experience
• Must be a local clinician
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight nursing shifts
• Availability to complete weekday orientation

Critical Care Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in clinical status
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and evaluate patient care plans
• Manage and monitor complex equipment and life-support therapies within the scope of practice
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes throughout each shift
