Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit. This position provides critical care nursing for patients with complex and multisystem conditions, including ventilated patients and those requiring cardiac and vasoactive medication management. The role includes 12-hour night shifts and welcomes first-time travelers.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with at least 1.5 years of experience.
- Active state or compact nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, multisystem organ dysfunction or failure management, arterial line management, central line care and management, continuous intravenous sedation, cardiac drip titration, vasoactive drip titration, bi-level positive airway pressure and continuous positive airway pressure management, ventilated patient care, arterial blood gas interpretation, endotracheal and nasotracheal suctioning, and isolation precautions using personal protective equipment.
- Additional Information: The unit accepts first-time travelers.
