Emergency Room Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in a critical access hospital environment.
Position Information
- Department: Emergency Department (ED)
- Trauma Level: Level 3
- Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM (Flex Position)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend required
- Call Requirements: None
Qualifications
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant setting
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Triage experience is essential
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: Familiarity with a diverse patient population including all ages, illnesses, and injuries
Unit Information
- Patient Ratios: 1:2.5
- Patient Population: All ages
- Equipment: Utilizes Omnicell, Cerner, SBAR for electronic health records
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in status and providing appropriate interventions.
- Collabourate with a small team, ensuring quality care for patients needing emergency services.
- Manage a diverse range of cases and provide care for patients with various medical needs.
Dress Code
The dress code consists of navy blue scrubs.
