Emergency Department Inpatient RN Specialty: Med/Surg, & Inpatient & Observation boarders Years of Exp preferred: 2+ Level I Trauma experience (800+ beds) Certifications required: BLS/ACLS; Arrythmia Assignments are given in 4-hour blocks based upon census/acuity needs Stepdown, float pool or comparable acute care experience preferred Proficient in EPIC a must (we do not offer additional training if EPIC skills exam is failed) Specialty Skills Exams are a 1-time pass/fail – if failed contract will be terminated / study guides are provided with FDI directly to traveler • Med Administration • Arrythmia(Tele) • Step Down Challenge Exam (if applicable) Level 1 Trauma facility(800+ beds): High acuity with high volume seeking experienced 2+ years RN’s
Qualifications o Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN degree required; ASN/ADN RNs with relevant experience may be considered. o Licensure: Current Connecticut RN license required prior to start date. o Experience: 3+ years of recent medical-surgical, float pool or comparable acute care experience strongly preferred o Certifications: BLS certification by American Heart Association and proof of arrhythmia certification required prior to date of hire.
