Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Chicago, Illinois.
Job Description & Requirements

Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour night shifts
- Shift timing: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend rotation varies based on facility needs
- Must be flexible to work any day of the week
- Schedule provided 2 weeks in advance
- No on-call requirement
Holiday requirement: 1 holiday
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
- Community or acute care ED experience
- Experience managing high-acuity emergency patients
- Strong IV skills, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and medication titration
- Experience with STEMI, stroke (CVA), sepsis, and ventilator management
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Local candidates are accepted
Required Certifications
- BLS – American Heart Association
- ACLS – American Heart Association
- PALS – American Heart Association
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
Preferred Certification
- TNCC
