Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Riverside, California.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
- Ability to work night shifts and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced emergency environment.
- Current resume required at the time of submission.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with the Meditech electronic medical record system.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Strong triage, critical thinking, communication, and emergency response skills.
Unit Details
- Department: Emergency Department
- Number of Beds: 67
- Total Unit Staff: Approximately 225
- Patient-to-Nurse Ratio: 4:1
- Night Shift Staffing: 1 Supervisor, 1 Charge Nurse, multiple technicians, 1 CNA, and approximately 19 nurses at shift start.
- EMR: Meditech knowledge preferred.
