Job Summary
Emergency Room position for a qualified healthcare professional supporting patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role provides professional and clinical expertise in the provision and management of care for patients in a fast-paced emergency setting, including the management of critical emergency infusions, vasopressors, antiarrhythmics, and sedation.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of previous experience; completion of at least 1 travel contract; active state licensure applicable to Iowa or Illinois; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); experience managing critical emergency infusions, vasopressors, antiarrhythmics, and sedation.
- Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Weekend package includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Additional Information: The role participates in interdisciplinary patient care and may require rotation within the same discipline across local campuses. Assignment options include 8-, 10-, and 13-week contracts. Assignment dates are 11/16/2026 through 02/15/2027.
