General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
Number of Beds – 16 with 8 hall chairs
Number of Staff – 6-7 per shift
Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 1 charge, 1 triage, 4-5 nurses (one is mid-shift), 1 US, 1-2 techs
o Night Shift – 1 charge, 1 triage, 4-5 nurses (one is mid-shift), US 7pm- MN, 1 tech
Patient Ratios – 1:4, low acuity Client 4 & 5, may take 6.
Type of equipment –Cardiac Monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Client s, Tonopen and more
EMR – Meditech, Vital signs flow into chart
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Compassion, Urgency and Teamwork is extremely important at this location
Level II or Level III trauma experience
TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS
NIH Certification
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
CEN or TCRN, CPI
Greater than two years of emergency department experience
