Job Summary
Registered Nurse Emergency Room. This position provides emergency nursing care in an acute care setting, supporting patients across a range of medical and trauma needs. The role requires current licensure, emergency department experience, specified certifications, and participation in a 12-hour day-shift schedule.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience; current Indiana or compact Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or ATCN certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Schedule: Day shifts are 12 hours, typically from 3:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role involves emergency nursing in an acute care setting with team-based patient care. Orientation is scheduled Monday through Friday during the first week and Monday through Tuesday during the second week, with mandatory attendance for all 7 days.
