Setting: Emergency Department (ER) | Level II Trauma | Teaching hospital (650+ beds)

• Weekly Gross: $2060.15 

Schedule

• Shift: 12H Evenings (12p–12a)
• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Rotation: 3/2 rotation
• On Call: None
• Block Scheduling / Self-Scheduling: Not available (scheduled based on need)

• Start Date: 12/02/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• End Date: 03/03/2027

Requirements (Must Have)

• Active Mississippi RN license (must be active at time of submission)
• 2+ years recent ER experience (non-negotiable)
• Prior travel experience (non-negotiable)
• Certifications (AHA): BLS, ACLS, PALS
• TNCC required at time of submission
• Fingerprinting must begin within 48 hours of offer acceptance
• Must not have worked perm/per diem for NMHS within the last 12 months
• Must be able to work 12/24 OR 12/25 AND 12/31 OR 1/1 (holiday requirement)

Unit / Patient Info

• Patient Ratio: typically 1:4 (up to 1:6 if ER holds awaiting inpatient beds)
• Float: Travelers are required to float within competencies
• Skills preferred/expected: critical care drips (titration), IV starts, vents, IV pumps, art lines, central lines, lab draws, blood cultures, intubations, EKG interpretation
• Testing: Pre-assignment EKG/Dysrhythmia competency required (passing score 80%)
