Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
About the Position
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in an emergency setting. This position involves working a 3x12 hour night shift, with flexibility in scheduling based on facility needs.
Shift Details
- Shift: 3x12s Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Days: Sunday through Saturday, depending on needs
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required, with emergency room experience necessary for first-time travelers.
- Licensure: Current SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required.
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- Preferred Certifications: CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
- Special Requirements: Epic experience is mandatory.
Miscellaneous Information
- Open to block schedule accommodations: Approval can be requested but is not guaranteed.
- Local Radius: 60 miles; locals are not accepted.
- RTO (Request Time Off) Restrictions: All requests must be submitted at the time of application.
- Guaranteed Hours: The facility reserves the right to call off one shift every two weeks.
