Submission Requirements
- Active RN license required.
- RN license cannot expire within 60 days of the contract start date.
- Certifications cannot expire within 90 days of the contract start date.
- All required certifications must be included at submission.
- 2 professional references required:
- Recent EPIC experience within the last 6 months must be included in the submission.
- No block scheduling requests will be considered.
COVID-19 Requirements
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
- No exemptions accepted.
Unit Overview
Emergency Department
- Clinical interview required.
- Final manager interview and approval required.
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required.
- Level I Trauma Center experience required.
Patient Population
Chest pain, stroke, diabetes, abdominal pain, motor vehicle accidents (MVCs), hypertension, stabbings, trauma patients, and mental health patients.

- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- BCR
Required Skills
Candidates must have experience with:
- Emergency Department nursing in a Level I Trauma Center
- Trauma patient management
- Stroke care
- Critical care medication drips, including:
- Heparin
- Insulin
- Cardene
- Dopamine
- Epinephrine
- Fentanyl
- Propofol
- Levophed
Floating Requirements
- Floating is required within the Emergency Department.
- MS/Tele, ICU, and PCU travelers within the system may float to sister campuses and other units as needed.
