Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. The position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Shift Details
- Shift: 3x12 Hour Nights (7 pm - 7 am)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize care accordingly.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Float between departments as required to meet facility needs.
Qualifications
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an emergency department.
- Licensure: Active RN license from South Carolina or a Multi-State/Compact RN license.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)
- Preferred Certifications: CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) and TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
- Epic electronic health record experience required.
Additional Information
- Local candidates within a 60-mile radius will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- All requests for time off must be communicated at the time of submission and are subject to approval based on facility needs.
- The facility reserves the right to call off one shift every two weeks.
