Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Night shift Location: Not Specified. This role involves delivering direct nursing care in an adult trauma emergency room setting, with a focus on patient assessment, care coordination, and discharge planning. The position requires working every other weekend and providing high-quality critical care for trauma patients.
Job Details
- Position Description: Night shift 1900-0730, every other weekend requirement. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Unit Description: Level 1 Trauma Adult Emergency Room. BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) via AHA (American Heart Association) required.
- Required Qualifications: Nursing license verification, related certification, and minimum of 1 year of experience in an ER setting.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/02/2026 with an end date of 01/31/2027.
