Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) has become available. This role involves providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patient populations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of dysrhythmias and central line care/management
- Administration of IV vasopressors
- Care for patients using CPAP/BiPAP and ventilated patients
- Triage patients effectively
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room setting; first-timers are welcome to apply
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Work Setting Requirements
- Experience in emergency room settings
- Familiarity with patient care technologies including Pyxis and Epic
Shift and Scheduling
- Night shifts, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
- Every other weekend required
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO)
Holiday and Compliance Information
- Travelers are expected to work if assigned to one or more major holidays
- Full compliance is required to start the assignment on time
Additional Notes
- Floating may occur within the facility and to multiple locations
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
