Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Glenbrook This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a cardio-focused hospital serving an elderly population. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of handling a high volume of patients in a Level II trauma setting.
Job Details
- Position Description: Emergency Room Nurse in a cardio specialty hospital with a Level II trauma designation, serving primarily elderly patients.
- Required Qualifications: Active Illinois licensure, CPR, advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), NIH stroke certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Epic experience, and at least 2 years of ER experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates must submit a passing EKG test with a score of 80% or higher. EKG testing will occur on the first day of orientation.
- Submission Requirements: Interested candidates should be prepared to demonstrate certification and license credentials upon request.
